Breakfast is very important for active brain activity, but do you know that it will affect university entrance examinations and employment in the future?
According to the “Awareness and fact-finding survey on breakfast” conducted jointly by Tohoku University’s Institute of Development, Aging and Cancer (IDAC) and the Smart-Aging International Collaborative Research Center, those who ate breakfast every day in their childhood were more likely to pass their desired university’s entrance exams as well as getting into a company.
This survey, conducted on 400 college students and 500 college graduates aged 35 to 44 years old, examined the relationship between lifestyle habits such as eating breakfast, daily life and university entrance exams, as well as success in business.
51.3% of university students who “ate breakfast almost every day” enrolled in a university of their first choice, and 30.8% of university students who “did not eat breakfast daily” enrolled in a university of their third choice or below.
In addition, in a survey of company employees, 59.4% of those who “continued to eat breakfast almost every day” found employment in a company of their first choice, but those who “did not eat breakfast almost every day” 28.8% of those were working for companies of their 3rd choice or lower.
However, there are some people who eat breakfast every day but are not able to pass their desired university exams or get a job at a company. It is speculated that this is related to the fact that even if you eat breakfast every day, it depends on the quality of the breakfast as well.
If you have a habit of eating breakfast every day, you can start your day in a good way by charging your brain and body with the necessary nutrients.
